Silver - accelerating higher and closing in on the 1980 peak near $40. A clear downward dynamic will be required to check momentum beyond a brief pause.

Silver shares such as Coeur d'Alene Mines, Silver Standard Resources, Silvercorp Metals, Hecla Mining, Silver Wheaton Corp, Endeavour Silver, Pan American Silver, Fortune Silver Mines and First Majestic Silver have so far lagged the metal price but have potential to catch-up if silver sustains such high prices beyond the short term.

Germany - posts a key day reversal. Additional follow through tomorrow would confirm that a high of at least near-term significance has been reached. A decline of more than 230 points would be larger than any seen since September and would likely indicate a lengthier period of consolidation is underway.

FTSE-350 Banks - pulling back from the upper side of the 17-month range. It will need to sustain a move above 5400 to complete this lengthy consolidation and indicate a return to medium-term demand dominance.
