I was lucky to buy Citic Securities at the open last night exactly where I sold it the night before at HK$19.81 for a September contract. I also purchased ICBC. It was the only share on the mainland of any size to hit a new recovery high on Friday and the Hong Kong share is trading out of character with its mainland parent. I purchased a September position at 565.1 including spread-bet dealing costs on the hope that the divergence will be corrected in a favourable manner. 

With China bouncing I was tempted to take the profit on my S&P 500 short while I still had one. However with the Index unable to hold the early rally and iconic Apple trading lower, I increased the position selling another September contract at 2050.13 including spread-bet dealing costs.
