"Here is a link to information about a Uranium ETF that trades on the NYSE with an expense ratio of 0.66%."
David Fuller's view Thank you for this link to the Market
Vectors Uranium + Nuclear Energy ETF (NLR US) (weekly
& daily), which may well be of interest
to some other subscribers. It currently has a market capitalisation of $300m.
Note: the extreme data point in May was the flash crash and is present on a
wide number of ETFs.
Eoin
also pointed out some additional uranium instruments of likely interest.
In
the USA: PowerShares Global Nuclear Energy (PKN US) (weekly
& daily). This is newer and the market
cap only $39m to date.
In the
UK there are two ETFS, and you will also note the obvious data errors which
BBG should correct shortly:
ETFS
WNA Global Nuclear Energy Fund (NUKP UK) (weekly
& daily), which is sterling denominated
and has a market cap of £86m.
ETFX
WNA Nuclear Energy Fund (NUKE UK) (weekly
& daily), which is US dollar denominated
and has a market cap of $140m.
As always,
we suggest that anyone interested go to the website for each fund, to check
costs and you should also be able to see their largest holdings. Lastly, nuclear
shares can be particularly volatile and are therefore best purchased following
setbacks.
