Two new trades opened.

David Fuller's view

There are few low-risk trades in my opinion.  Nevertheless, I hope to do a little more spread-bet trading this year, as it has been a mostly profitable exercise for me over the decades, and can be a tax advantageous source of income in the UK.  However, I would caution most investors against this tactic, unless they are experienced traders, since it is a far riskier practice and more time consuming than buying quality multinational shares with reasonable dividends (Autonomies), for the medium to longer term.

Today, I opened an additional, small hedge short position, this time in the Nasdaq 100 Index.  I sold the March 2014 contract at 3554.8.  I also bought a little silver, paying $20.135 for the March position.  These prices include all spread-bet dealing costs.
