Late copy and erratum

David Fuller's view

Due to all the technical issues on this site my copy for Wednesday 11th Dec was posted early Thursday morning for Asian Pacific and European subscribers.  If you missed it you can easily find it by clicking on the ‘Previous’ link shown just beneath the main ‘Comment of the Day’ heading above.

Also, if you did see the initial version of copy posted for the 11th, the link to Nicholas Carr’s full article: All Can Be Lost: The Risk of Putting Our Knowledge in the Hands of Machines, was missing but you can now find it halfway down my reply to that lengthy but interesting email.  On a related point, Eoin and I have told the head programmer that the links are not yet sufficiently recognisable.  We have asked that they be in a different colour than black or green, and also have a line under them.

Lastly, in my reply to the email on assessing the charts of Autonomies, I incorrectly stated that Coronation Fund Managers (SML SJ) was a global Autonomy.  It is not, although it is a significant African company.  This has now been corrected in the first sentence of my reply.
