My personal portfolio:

A gold stop triggered; my T-Bond short position increased

David Fuller's view Just before I left for Paris my most recent and therefore most expensive gold long was stopped out on 12th April at $1460 for the June contract against my purchase price at $1458.2 on 5th April. This reduced my long position by 20% and I raised stops on my remaining positions today.

Today, I also increased my US 30-year T-Bond short stake by 20%, selling another decimalised June position at 120.80. I would welcome a little more volatility in this contract so that I could trade it more actively. That is another way of saying that my Baby Steps selling and buying orders have not conformed sufficiently to the range seen recently.

Prices above include all spread-bet dealing costs.
