Email of the day on US housing measures

The S&P/Case-Shiller Composite-20 data only gives data for approx 10 years. Is it possible to get more historical data e.g. 50yrs or more?

Thank you for highlighting this popular measure of US housing prices. The S&P/Case-Shiller Composite-20 Index is the broader measure but only goes back to 2000. The narrower S&P/Case-Shiller Composite-10 dates from 1987 and as a result is more popular as a longer-term measure of pricing.
