Email of the day on the April 16th & 17th Singapore venue for The Chart Seminar

Interested in attending the above Seminar.  Are you doing your one day Strategy workshop as well.  I would probably find the "strategy session" more useful.

Do you have other Chart Seminars in the planning for 2015?

From one of your chart coverage's I noticed your comments on Alumina (AWC.AX).  The chart movement was exactly as you teach in the Chart Seminar.  Bought AWC on a break from the base added when it trended and topped up again at $1.72.  The stock has been volatile of late only because it’s stretched relative to its 200 MA.

A told an ex-colleague that runs a Funds Management business recently that AWC was the biggest shareholding in my Self Managed retirement fund.  She looked at me like I had 3 heads.  In Australia all the IB have a "Sell" on AWC.  This does not concern me it is never safe to be with the crowd.

Could you or Sarah please fill me in if you are planning a "Strategy Session" in Singapore.

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m greatly looking forward to visiting Singapore again and am currently waiting on news of whether the Mandarin version of Crowd Money will be ready in time. We will not be conducting a strategy session this year but I plan on incorporating more of that type of environment into The Chart Seminar. We will also hold a November seminar in London.

Alumina is an interesting prospect right now since it has been trending consistently higher for more than a year. Since it generates more than 60% of revenue outside Australia it is benefitting from the weakness of the Australian Dollar. Additionally, the decline in energy prices is of benefit to aluminium producers suggesting supply cuts will take longer to come through. A break in the progression of higher reaction lows would be required to question scope for additional upside.
