“You referred to an interesting interview/comment last week on India and Turkey. From my first and recent trip to Turkey, I found lots of energy and vibrance in that country. I am comparing it with China where I live and not with Greece, so you may appreciate the context.
“Any ETFs or funds linked to Turkey?
“Thanks as usual.”
Eoin Treacy's view Thank you for sharing your impression of Turkey which I'm sure will be of interest to other subscribers. There are a number of ETFs offering exposure to the Turkish market. You will find these by typing “turkey” into the dedicated Chart Library search engine.
The iShares MSCI Turkey and Lyxor Turkey are both listed in the UK and denominated in Pounds. The iShares MSCI Turkey Index Fund is listed in the USA and denominated in US Dollars.
The National-100 Index of Turkish shares found support in the region of 50,000 from August and posted a higher reaction low near 54,000 in May. It will need to hold above that level if medium-term recovery potential is to continue to be given the benefit of the doubt. .
