Email of the day (1&2)

On a potential Cape Town TCS
"Thank you so much for your feedback on the UK gilt. I would have thought after a gap of 20 years there would be plenty of interest in having a TCS in Cape Town. I am not sure I would be able to attend myself having had a long standing and recurring medical problem.

"I would just like to say though how much I have valued your fantastic service over the years. My vintage is 1941 and remember very well all those hard copy charts. Seems like the dinosaur age now. What I do have is time having been liberated from an interesting career, to keep bang up to date through your great service."

David Fuller's view Thank you so much for this thoughtful email, not to mention your interest, enthusiasm and encouragement and no doubt forgiveness over the decades. Live long and prosper, as Spock used to say.

I cannot recall exactly how many I have conducted The Chart Seminar in SA, but it is probably at least 6 to 8 of them since the 1970s. We had local organisational help and the venues were well attended. More importantly for us, delegate enthusiasm and participation in the discussions was inspiring. Consequently, I believe the market would be receptive to Eoin's 2-day workshop. He likes SA and this is very likely to be a project for the not too distant future.

And:

"If you were considering bringing TCS to Cape Town please let me know. However I am semi retired so cost is always an issue. I have previously attended a seminar of yours in Jhb a (very) long time ago and learnt a lot as well as enjoying the experience."

My comment - Here also, thank you so much for your considerable support and interest over many years.
